Here are a few hypothetical questions I took the liberty of anwsering, just in case they happened to come up. But then again, I guess that's the whole meaning of "hypothetical", isn't it?
Q: How long have you been designing?
A: I first started playing around with design when I was in middle school. I would make web designs, and I suppose that's how I got started. I began learning about graphic design when I started college with my first art class, 2D design.
Q: What programs do you use?
A: I use all of the Adobe programs, like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign...now that Adobe has bought out Macromedia, I could include Fireworks and Dreamweaver in there as well. I sometimes combine digital media with old fashioned hand drawn images.
Q: What tools do you use?
A: Pencils, pens, paper, tracing paper, oil pastels, color pencils, paint, my Canon flatbed scanner, sometimes my HP printer, and my MacBook Pro :). I love Macs. They're the best when it comes to graphic design.
Q: Do you do anything else OTHER than graphic design?
A: I eat, breathe, and sleep.....just kidding! As far as artistic abilities go, I can draw and paint pretty well, and I'm also a decent metalsmith (I like making fabricated jewelry pieces).
I know these questions are bland and most likely will never occur, but I thought I'd throw them in anyway. More FAQs will be added later on.
