Fees:

Please send me an email with the following details of your project:

  • type of work (print, digital, logo, etc.)
  • a brief description of what you'd like to see
  • a deadline, if necessary ("rush orders" of large projects will have a higher flat rate)

I will respond to you with an estimate of your project, detailing initial pricing, set up, and maintenance (typically designated to websites). I prefer to charge by the job, thus, prices will vary on the nature of the commission.

Process:
I begin by getting a firm idea of what the client expects of their design. I listen to their ideas if they have any. I will send the client an invoice stating the commission and pricing, and a contract that will be signed before I begin the service, via fax. 50% of the design fee must be paid upfront, to cover consultation and any time spent on a design should the client change their mind on hiring me for the commission.

Usually I will sketch out ideas and then take them to the computer to solidify them.

I will notify the client via email that the first draft of their commission is ready for viewing and revision. I will have a special section of this site set up for clients to log into and view the work-in-progress. Changes will be discussed, and made, and logged into the final invoice.

I'll post a second revision, and notify the client. Further changes will be made if necessary and logged for the final invoice.

Finally, I'll post a third revision and notify the client. This is the final draft, and thus is expected to be as the client desires. Further revision "sessions" will cost a small extra fee and will be added to a seperate invoice that will be paid with the final 50% of the initial quoted price. The client will be notified of all changes to pricing.

I will host the final design on the client's log-in page on my website for a short time inorder to give them time to download any necessary files. After the time limit is up, or the client has what they need, I will remove the files, but they will be saved in an archive incase of an emergency. Upon completion, the client retains all rights to the commission, but I as the artist request the right to publish the commission in my portfolio for reference purposes only. A final invoice will be faxed or emailed to the client, and all final fees are expected to be paid at this time.
